The Manabu Difference

Welcome to Manabu Academic Services — named for the Japanese word meaning “to learn.” In its truest form, manabu means more than just acquiring knowledge; it’s about deep study and true understanding. At Manabu, we emphasize developing strong study habits that go beyond rote memorization. Our goal is to help middle and high school students engage with material meaningfully, enabling them to build a solid foundation and continuously connect critical concepts. As recent graduates of some of the nation's top universities, we are also deeply familiar with the challenges and pressures of the college application process. We offer tailored support with college admission essays and standardized test prep to help students showcase their best selves on their applications.

Customized Study Plans

Studying correctly isn’t always intuitive. A student's performance often has less to do with ability, and more to do with ineffective study techniques. By focusing on research-backed strategies, we help students maximize their potential and achieve better results.

Standardized Test Prep

ACT and SAT preparation does not have to be complicated or expensive. Our tutors, who scored in the 99th percentile on the ACT, will help students identify areas of focus and efficiently prepare for standardized tests.

College Application Assistance

As recent graduates from competitive universities, we have valuable insights to share on how to maximize your application. From crafting standout college essays to securing high school summer internships and preparing for admission interviews, we use our own personal experiences to guide students every step of the way.
